R-W-C Policy
Retraction, Withdrawal, & Correction Policy (RWC)
Our Retraction, Withdrawal, & Correction Policy (RWC) is designed to maintain the integrity of the scientific record while addressing necessary changes to published content
Article Retraction:
Retraction may occur due to significant scientific errors, duplicate publication, or ethical violations. The process involves:
- Submission of potentially retractable articles to the editor
- Evaluation following COPE guidelines
- Review by the Ethics Advisory Board
- Communication of the final decision to all parties
- Publication of a detailed retraction statement
Article Withdrawal:
To discourage unnecessary withdrawals, we impose the following fines:
- Withdrawal during peer review: $10 USD/Rp 100,000 per manuscript
- Withdrawal after acceptance: $15 USD/Rp 200,000 per manuscript
- Withdrawal of published "Article in Press": $25 USD/Rp 350,000 per manuscript
Non-payment results in a 1-year blacklist for the author and their institution. Withdrawal requests require an official letter signed by the author and institution head.
Article Correction:
We publish corrections for honest errors or incorrect author lists. Corrections are categorized as:
- Publisher's correction (erratum)
- Author's correction (corrigendum)
- Addendum
Article Removal:
In rare cases, articles may be removed if they defame, violate legal rights, or pose serious health risks. Metadata is retained with an explanation of removal.
Article Replacement:
For potential health risks, a flawed article may be retracted and replaced with a corrected version, linked to the original retraction notice.
