Peer Review Process

Eduscape follows a rigorous, double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and academic integrity of its published articles. This process ensures the impartiality and objectivity of evaluations:

  1. Initial Screening: Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial review by the editorial team to ensure it aligns with the journal’s scope and academic standards.
  2. Peer Review by External Experts: Manuscripts are then sent to at least two external, peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The identity of both authors and reviewers is anonymized to maintain objectivity.
  3. Decision Process: Based on reviewer feedback, decisions may include acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection. Authors are required to address reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript. The editorial team evaluates the revisions to ensure all concerns are addressed.
  4. Final Decision: The Editor-in-Chief, with input from the editorial board, makes the final decision on publication. Reviewers’ reports remain confidential, and any disagreements between reviewers may result in the involvement of a third reviewer.
  5. Review Duration: Reviews typically take 3 to 4 weeks. Authors are informed of delays or other issues promptly. If the peer review process is delayed, authors have the option to withdraw their manuscript.
  6. Ethical Standards: Eduscape adheres to COPE guidelines and upholds strict ethical standards during the peer review and publication processes. All manuscripts are treated confidentially, and reviewers are expected to maintain discretion regarding the content they review.
