RWC Policy

Policy Statement:

We recognize authors' efforts in manuscript preparation and our peer-review process. However, published articles may require retraction or removal for scientific reasons in exceptional circumstances. We adhere to strict standards for corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies to maintain trust in our electronic archive's integrity.

Article Retraction:

Articles may be retracted for significant scientific errors, duplicate publication, or ethical issues. Our retraction process follows COPE guidelines:

  1. Potential retractions are submitted to the editor.
  2. The editor evaluates author responses following COPE guidelines.
  3. Findings are reviewed by the Ethics Advisory Board.
  4. The final decision is communicated to involved parties.
  5. A retraction statement is published online and in the next journal issue.

Article Withdrawal:

Authors cannot withdraw submitted manuscripts due to resource waste. Withdrawal fees apply:

  • During peer review: $10 USD/Rp 100,000 per manuscript
  • After acceptance: $15 USD/Rp 200,000 per manuscript
  • After "Article in Press" publication: $25 USD/Rp 350,000 per manuscript

Non-payment results in a 1-year blacklist for the author and their institution. Withdrawal requests require an official letter signed by the author and institution head.

Article Correction:

Corrections may be published for honest errors in a small portion of data or incorrect author lists. Categories include:

  • Publisher's correction (erratum)
  • Author's correction (corrigendum)
  • Addendum

The Editor decides on corrections, consulting with Reviewers or the Editorial Board as needed.

Article Removal:

In rare cases, articles may be removed if they clearly defame, violate legal rights, are subject to a court order, or pose a serious health risk. Metadata is retained with a removal notice.

Article Replacement:

In cases of serious health risks, authors may retract and replace an article with a revised version. The retraction notice will link to the corrected article and its document history.
