Retraction, Withdrawal, & Correction Policy (RWC)
Article Retraction:
Articles may be retracted for significant scientific errors, duplicate publication, or ethical issues. The process involves:
- Submission to the journal editor
- Evaluation following COPE guidelines
- Review by the Ethics Advisory Board
- Communication of the final decision
- Publication of a retraction statement
Article Withdrawal:
Authors are not permitted to withdraw submitted manuscripts without penalty:
- Withdrawal during peer-review: $10 USD/Rp 100,000 fine
- Withdrawal after acceptance: $15 USD/Rp 200,000 fine
- Withdrawal of published "Article in Press": $25 USD/Rp 350,000 fine
Failure to pay results in a 1-year blacklist for the author and their affiliate.
Article Correction:
Corrections may be published for honest errors or incorrect author lists. They are categorized as:
- Publisher's correction (erratum)
- Author's correction (corrigendum)
- Addendum
Article Removal:
In rare cases, articles may be removed if they defame, violate legal rights, or pose serious health risks. Metadata is retained with a removal notice.
Article Replacement:
In cases of serious health risks, a flawed article may be retracted and replaced with a revised version, including a link to the corrected article and its document history.
