Journal Business Model
Curatio : Journal of Advanced and Specialized Nursing, and Care Planning operates on an open access model, ensuring free access to all readers and authors. This approach enhances global accessibility and utilization of research in advanced and specialized nursing and care planning, benefiting professional, academic, and broader healthcare communities.
Article Processing Charges (APC):
To cover the costs associated with publication, including peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving, we implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles. Effective from August 2024, the APC structure is as follows:
- International authors: USD 25
- Indonesian authors: Rp 350,000
Authors must confirm their ability to pay the APC at the time of submission. The charge is billed after article acceptance and does not influence the peer review process. It's crucial that authors secure funds for the APC prior to submission.
APC Waiver Policy:
We offer waivers and discounts to ensure equitable access to publication:
- Authors from low-income countries are exempt from the APC.
- Corresponding authors with an h-index of 15 or higher on Scopus or Web of Science receive a full APC waiver.
- Reviewers for our journal receive a discount of Rp 50,000 per review.
Article Submission:
We do not charge any fees for article submission to encourage a diverse range of submissions from the nursing and care planning community.
