Publication Ethics
Publication Ethics
Curatio : Journal of Advanced and Specialized Nursing, and Care Planning is deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and actively preventing all forms of publication malpractice. Our Editorial Board takes this responsibility very seriously, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for unethical behavior. All editors, authors, and reviewers must adhere to good publication practices, as outlined in the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editors. The complete guidelines are available on the COPE website as part of our Core Practices.
Authors and Contributors
- Authorship : Each author is considered to have agreed to the content and submission process, including obtaining necessary permissions.
- Disclosure: Authors must provide information on funding, interests, and ethical approvals.
- Corresponding Author Role: Coordinates approvals, manages communications, and ensures transparency.
- Author Contributions: We publish a statement of contributions in each manuscript.
- Affiliation: Primary affiliation should reflect where research was conducted and won't change post-publication.

- Author Identification: Use of ORCID ID is encouraged during submission.
- Deceased/Incapacitated Authors: Inclusion requires legal representative approval.
- Confidentiality: All journal communications are confidential unless explicit consent is given.
- Authorship Disputes: Authors must resolve these themselves. The journal won't investigate or decide disputes.
- AI-Generated Content: AI tools aren't independent authors. Their use must be transparently described.
- Post-Publication Name Changes: We'll update metadata without announcement to protect privacy.
- Journal Staff as Authors: Those involved in manuscript compilation are excluded from editorial decisions.
- Ethical Responsibilities: Authors must maintain scientific integrity and respect rejection decisions.
- Error Correction: Authors must correct significant errors upon discovery.
- Reviewer Suggestions: Authors may suggest independent reviewers with contact details.
